If you like numbers (those in the names of the bands like 36 Crazyfists), if heaviness altogether with a melodic base is what you value much then 40 Below Summer may easily be of your big interest.The heavier (and screamier) tunes are what they do perfectly: starting from We The People, the great opener for the cd, going further with Rope, one of the most original songs here, and Step Into The Sideshow, the heaviest and fastest track to impress even the Slipknot fans, and never stopping until the last one Jonesin', the songs are all great, originally sounding, and really memorable due to both vocals and instruments playing. The slower ones are hardly much worse at the same time: Whither Away, or Drown, or even Power Tool, all have the heavier moments and the proper screams, being very melodic and catchy, and only emphasize the good sound of the rest fo the songs. A really good collection of the nu-metal pearls, a really nice debut. Where are you guys now?
