When I bought this cd, it was 90% because they have a lot to do with one of my favorite bands. But lets leave them out of it. I was slightly afraid of getting it because of its rap metal influences. Let me just tell you something, THIS IS NOT RAPMETAL. The vocalist is by far the best black (metal) singer I've ever heard. His screams pierce your mind with the same valitity as Jonathan Davis used to, and Corey Taylor continueosly does. The only part of the band I have a problem with is the lack of originality and lyric. Nothing really inspiring about either of those subjects. But nonetheless, a GREAT debut album. I hope they manage to do well.
