Throw you notions of the typical heavy band out the window

As their name implies, 40 below is a band about contrast. The songs meld pop balad hooks with hardcore mayhem. They are the answer to your prayers if you're a heavy music fan and your tired of being beat down with the statement "all hardcore bands do is scream". Well, this guy can scream, but he also has one of the best singing voices out there today and he showcases both talents throughout this album. I've seen these guys live and they have a great live show, packed with energy. I think that energy translates well in the recording process because the CD definitely will fire you up!
