I must say, I'm willing to give any new band a chance, but they all keep letting me down. 40 Below Summer are probably at the bottom of the barrel as far as new acts go. They are boring and cliched. This same type of music has been done millions of times by bands that are far better than this one could ever wish to be. If you think Slipknot is the dawning of a new era, you might enjoy this, but I can't. If this was the eighties, and nu-metal was equivalent to hair-metal, 40 Below Summer would be the RATT of nu-metal. If you want a great new band, check out Finch's EP "Falling Into Place." Trust me on this one. Bands like this come and go.
