I don't know why this is always in the used stores, because it's definitely a keeper to me. Though it was their only album, it's a great alterna-pop-rocker from 1992. What stands out even more than the great songs, is the voice of "Linda Perry". She sings like her life depends on it, and has one of the most powerful voices I've ever heard. "What's Up" is the big single here, followed by "Spaceman", but my favorites are "Morphine and Chocolate" and "Dear Mr. President". Both excellent tracks. The only comparisons that come to mind are "Concrete Blonde" and "Heart".....kind of. "Linda Perry" has gone on to be a semi-successful producer, but I think that singing is obviously her strong point. She does have a solo album out, just don't look for it under the name "1 Non Blonde".
