I am a fan of much folk/blues/rock music. Not only does 4 Non Blondes give that category of music a bad name, 4 Non Blondes shouldn't pass for professional music at all but instead merely an unexperienced garage band. The lyrics of "Train" are repetative in no artist way. Rather than offering any interesting interpretation of oldies rock, the songs sound like unsuccessful immitations. I don't see any reason to rate this album with more than 1 star, even though the two main reasons anyone gives this album the time of day are a bit refreshing: 1) There are, gasp, chicks using instruments in the band (sadly, that is not a common thing to happen in music nowadays), and 2) The music on this album is honestly different than what the typical listener is used to. My recommendation: Do not spend your money this album.
