trippy, darkly sarcastic, melting pot of different styles of music make up the sounds that come pounding out of the plastic that accomponies this disc. i first heard of this through nikki sixx's ramblings on the crue's web site. exploring a rich tapestry of writing with other artists has made me appreciate his skills as an artist, but before you say "hair band." this is not for the faint of heart. it's dark, and goes for the throat. but it is so radically different than what you normally hear on radio. i listened to it four times back to back, and there are some well crafted songs in this 11 track oddessy of the sick, twisted, gloriously sonic car crash that is the band 58. definitely worth a look if you like your tunes with a bite.
