What can I say these girls were hot when their hit "Where My Girls At" came out but there next 2 singles {"You Don't Know", and "Gotta Leave"} didn't live up to their expectations of the success they wanted for this album, and indeed they did get the sophomore jinx, but that still dosen't mean this album is bad it just means the sales on this album weren't very high and indeed this album is very well put together . Like Destiny's Child these three ladies have one lead vocalist but unlike Destiny's Child these girls have stuck together thru the thick and the thin. Now on to the album review this album I feel did not need any corny intro but I feel each member taking an intro was a waste, they each should've done a solo song. Songs that caught my attention were the very real and true "You'll Just Never Know" which is the best song on this album it has a meaning and a purpose and it dosen't miss the point, also the three harmonize very well on this song. Then there's "Finally" which I think is another good song this song has a good beat and a good bridge. Two songs I feel are great and great in the order they go are "Tell Your Girl" which is a good song for the ladies which will give them the strength to tell their men to tell their other girl to stop calling their phone and this song has a nice chrous, the other song is "Gotta Leave" which was the girls third single and I feel it should have been there first, this song sounds great with the chorus and all. Their second single which was a major flop and had a great remix which featured Foxy Brown was "You Don't Know" which was another good song and had a good beat and the lead vocalist Meelah sounded good on this one. "Make Time" gives a good message because the message is positive and it works the girls are saying if you wanna be with me make time, show me I'm the only one. Then theres my favorite uptempo song "Seven which is a song you truly gotta hear to believe how good this one is believe me it's hot to death. So thats my review of 702's self titled album check out more on me with new reviews of Pink and Toni Estes and more reviews coming soon.
