Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of rock music. 99% of what I listen to is Hip-Hop. Very rarely I can find a band that really hits home with me, and here I did just that. I found out about Abandoned Pools through the hilarious show "Clone High". AP made the theme song to "Clone High", and did a tremendous job at that. I had that song stuck in my head for the longest time and I finally found out who made it, so naturally I began downloading songs. After hearing "The Remedy", "Start Over", "Monster" and "Mercy Kiss" (arguably the strongest 4 songs) I had to hear the rest. I downloaded the rest of the album and fell in love with it. For the next month or so I listened to my burned copy of this classic (but most likely ignored) album and very recently I picked up a copy of it during a trip to the cd store. This cd is very soothing and I can vibe with almost every track. Other songs worth mentioning (actually they all are)-"Never", an acoustic, slow, melodic ballad. "Blood" and "Flourescein". This is the first rock album I've bought in years, which says quite a bit because (as I stated) I am a devout Hip-Hop listener. Pick this up, you will not regret.
