A Truly Unique Metal Experience

Before I heard of Acid Bath, I thought I had a complete collection of great metal cd's. Man, was I wrong! I'm ashamed that I never heard of them years ago. After stumbling across "Paegan Terrorism Tactics", I was blown away by what I heard. Acid Bath have a truly unique sound, something that is rare nowadays. Every song on this cd easily earns a 5-star rating (except the junk-track "old skin"). The thing I enjoy most about "P.T.T." is the range of styles, speed, and sounds. "New Death Sensation" and "Dead Girl" have beautifully harmonic acoustical peices in them. Frantic and explosive tracks like "13 Fingers" and "New Corpse" are tightly-constructed death metal grooves set to an insanely fast beat. Every song showcases the band's talent. First of all, Dax Riggs has the best voice in any metal band. This guy can really belt out some words! The guitars played by Mike and Sammy rip some killer riffs and amazing harmonies. And the drumming.....wow! Basically, Acid Bath is one of the top metal bands I've ever heard. Buy "Paegan Terrorism Tactics" along with their other one "When the Kite String Pops". If you appreciate good metal, you'll cherish them both for the masterpieces that they are.
