I first found out about adema from my mortal Kombat game and when I heard Immortal and Giving in on the radio I just new I had to buy their CD.
1.Everyone-(4/5)This song isn't real heavy but dark, lead singer Mark Chavez's voice is just great and for a second he sounds like his brother Jon Davis from Korn (almost).
2.Blow it away-(3/5)-Not a favorite but it's guitar riffs and amazing vocals will catch the person's interest.
3.Giving in-(5/5)Favorite song even if the radio messed it up a little. Everything is just great from it's dark but enticing lyrics to it's vocals which resemble that of Linkin park's Chester Bennington, to it's awsome guitar riffs and great drumming.
4.Freaking out-(5/5) Another favorite song because it's a little faster than giving in but the lyrics which resembled my relationship with my parents,"Everything that my mom said made me mad and everything that my dad said made me sad", make this a good angsty song about being an outsider and havin no one to understand you.
5.The way you like it-(4/5)This song was slower but not to be underestimated with it's great beat and rapping lyrics.
6.Close friends-(5/5) Awesome song full of lyrics that tell of betrayal,hurt, and friends becoming enemies, hence the name "Close Friends".
7.Do what You want to do-(4/5) The name says it all. Also drummer Kris Kohls does a great job of playing the drums on this song.
8.Skin-(5/5)Probably one of the darkest song of this album even though it's not fast doesn't mean it ain't heavy.
9.Pain inside-(4/5)Another slow one full of angsty lyrics but still great.
10.Speculum-(3/5)This one was one of the songs that after you listen to it you realize it's actually kinda good but it is kinda like tracks 8&9 makin it kinda boring....at first.
11.Drowning-(5/5)This one is for those of you who love the fast and heavy nu-metals songs. Mark Chavez's screams let's you know that he is the half brother of Jon Davis and Kris Kohls ability to play the drums fast and hard will make you put this track in repeat.
12.Trust-(4/5)Kinda like Speculum but still a great track to finish this awesome cd.
