What a surprise!

Okay, let me just start off by saying I have never liked rap music and hip-hop has never appealed to me either. In fact, I really hate them. Radiohead and PJ Harvey are more my style. But, along came Afroman and everything changed.This cd is just really funny. The lyrics are really fun to sing along with and the songs have a great rhythm. This is not a cd with just one or two good songs; it is a very solid album. Each song has its own appeal. My favorite is Tall Cans. Such a good song. It's a very upbeat cd, except for a couple of songs. In fact, my roommate works out to it everyday. It's funny. But there is enough talent here to keep in from falling into the "novelty, but crap" genre. Fair warning, It's unabashedly vulgar, but is so pleasurable you can't help but fall in love with this cd. This is probably my favorite guilty pleasure cd. It brings a smile to my face everytime I play it.
