Forever On My Playlist

Thursday, April 29, 2004 found me at Paramount Theatre in Seattle to experience Air live. It was a truly emotional experience to see the people who changed the way I thought about music. It was nearly five years ago when I first heard "Moon Safari." Nearly five years later I still am listening to it on a regular basis. With "Moon Safari," Air has managed to produce an album that is modern with countless references to the past. There are many references to Jazz and Rock, but they never overshadow the ultra mellow electronic aspect. This album is perfect for anything from 'background socialization' music to 'do nothing but listen to music' music. One listen will tell anyone why this (as of today) is ranked 441 on Amazon.com's sales list (out of severl hundred thousand). Air's critical acclaim across many countries is evidence that they produce music that is something special to humankind.
