Sweet and Sexy

Ghost Stories is a remarkable album. Amanda ghost demonstrates a wide variety of vocal and writing talents. Songs like "silver lining" show a tender and sweet side. While "cellophane" is gritty and soulful. There's some trip-hop on here that is reminiscent of Portishead and Sneaker Pimps. All different styles she takes on she aces. But I feel that "cellophane" demonstrates her true calling as a rocker. This woman can belt it out, and with such feeling and soul it gets me every time. I hope to hear more from her and I would love it if she did a little more rocking. Cellophane wets my appetite for more. One of the reviewers on here teases her accent. She does have a peculiar accent but I think it's sexy. Her voice is complimented nicely by her great songwriting. She writes her own songs then brings them to life with her awesome voice. This is an exceptional album by a beautiful and talented woman. One of the best discoveries I've made. If you live in the states you better order it here online. I checked 5 record stores in my area and not one had it. Yet all of them had crap like Britney and Christina, it's just criminal.
