Wonderful Album!

With the opening of "Army of Me", I was hooked. I was introduced to Björk on a message board; a link to her videography online. After downloading every video listed, and getting quite hooked, I immediately went out and bought "Post". I'm still wanting more; this is the first album of hers that I've bought. I've heard that "Homogenic" is more ambient and personalized (like "Vespertine" is going to be), but this does just fine for me.It's jazzy, it's danceable, and as the admirable person below me says, "Hyperballad" and "Possibly Maybe" are the two best songs on the album -- "Hyperballad" is somewhat fast-paced, but very sad and captivating, while "Possibly Maybe" is slow, very jazz-inspired, and to be blunt, depressing as hell. "I Miss You" is a sort of psychotic jungle-romp, like a twisted and deranged cousin of "Isobel", which is a bit more serious. "Army of Me" is a good song, but it does get old, and fast. "Headphones" is soft, ambient, and an excellent closing piece. "It's Oh So Quiet" is very fun, swingy, and definitely the most energetic piece on the album, at least IMHO. "Enjoy" is dark and brooding, and quite odd. Björk's voice works well with every song on the album, and you shouldn't be disappointed. After buying this, you'll want more, unless you're some kind of philistine.
