This is the best Frank Zappa's live recording. Better than Fillmore East, Just another band from L.A., and Bongo fury.First of all, it's jazzy, bluesy, funny, and cool. The vocals is good, the guitar is good, and the sound is good. And it's a great live record. And here are many solos, just like it has to be in a concert. But this music is not for everyone. For people, who like heavy metal, or pop, or rap or hip hop, they won't like it. And if you like jazz, or jazz-rock, I think you'll probably like Zappa too. Because the albums Waka/Jawaka, The grand wazoo, are absolutely jazz. And this one is a little jazzy too. If you have this album, you might have noticed, that here are a few blues. And it's Penguin in Bondage, More trouble every Day, and the very end of The Be-Bop Tango. But I think the end of Be-Bop Tango is actually a Rock 'n' Roll song. And the main Be-Bop Tango is avangarde. Especially when George Duke sings those funny and fast notes. I don't even think, that you can dance to those notes. I think the best songs are : Penguin in Bondage, Don't you ever wash that thing ?, More trouble every Day, and Be-Bop Tango. Try it, it's really an amazing album.
