Not only is Gwen the coolest chick in hollywood she is an unparalleled talent. Every song on this cd is awesome & unique. "Cool" hands down should be her next single even though there are plenty of jams offered here that could be hits. There's punk rock, hip-hop, r&b, pop, & disco-like beats all mixed in a brilliant musical package of award winning material. She also worked with a variety of genius producers including herself, L. Perry, D. Austin, Andre 2000, Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis, Neptunes, Dr. Dre.... Some tracks kinda remind me of a little bit of Prince, The Cars, Biggie, Snoop, No Doubt (ha ha). No Doubt Gwen has done it & has given us a suffisticated production of cool, witty, intelligent, funky, & groovy jams that even a smuckers factory couldn't match.
I heard that No Doubt has retired & that makes me very upset. I love No Doubt. Hope its not true. I had to add more to my review after reading some of the negative reviews. I cannot believe that anybody would not like this cd. Every track has its own style & uniqueness & if listeners can't appreciate that, well then, I say that they are not real music fans. For music enthusiasts that have the ability to keep an open mind and appreciate musical variety - go get this cd.
