This is my favourite Jann Arden cd to date, although I do love all her stuff. She is a very, very talented singer/songwriter/musician. Would that more artists were like her. Not only does she sing and play guitar, but she wrote every song on here. Her lyrics are almost poetic and very deep. She is a rare talent and deserves to be heard. This is one album that really grows on you with repeated listenings. The first time I heard it I wasn't that sure about it, as some songs do need repeated hearings. But, that is the way with all good music, it gets inside you after a while and you end up loving it. This is a must-have...highly recommended! The 12 page booklet contains all lyrics and some photos.
