. . .THE MORE I LOVE IT ! - - - Jann Arden, or one of the great voices in Canada and in the world. I like all the cuts on this incredible disc. Simply, wonderfully, Jann Arden at the top. Songs such as 'Gasoline' or the superb 'Demolition Love' are examples of the mastery and "soul" lost and found in the depths of this cd. Interestingly, 'It Looks Like Rain' reminds me of some work by Sara K.; this is a great jazz track, in case you didn't know. I really like her wax entitled 'Happy?', another great album, yet 'Living Under June' is even better. It is one of those timeless masterpieces by a Canadian singstress (there are only a few that deserve the word "exception") : 'Fumbling Towards Ecstasy' by Sarah McLachlan ; 'The Mask And Mirror' by Loreena McKennitt ; 'Dragonfly' by Mae Moore, and a few others are of the same "flame" as 'Living Under June'. Listen carefully to this cd and you'll understand why Jann achieves near cult status.
