I love Jann's ability to blend so much emotion into her music. I love the way her songs bring out my feelings, thoughts, and memories. This album is the most "moody", as they say, of the albums she's made. However, it is that fact that makes it nearly my favorite. It is sweet, sad, perfect music for writing letters, crying, reliving past loves, letting go of old dreams. It's nice to know that there's an artist out there who can express the depths so well. Don't expect to be dancing when you're listening, don't even put this cd into your car player. Expect to be gazing out of the window or staring into yourself.
Out of all of her albums, I bought this cd last, thinking that it would impress me the least. I was very surprised. Buy it, have a cup of tea, and ponder....
