This CD is great!

This is one of the best CDs I have bought in a while. My favorite will probably be Christina Aguilera's Stripped but this CD comes in a very close second. It's straight up hip-hop and R&B which is what I love. It reminds me of Justin Timberlake's Justified. But she pulls it off just a tad bit better. The only problem that I do have with this CD is the lyrics. They really don't fit her since she's only fourteen, but she still sings the hell out of them.1. Breezy 4/5 Really good way to start of the CD...very upbeat 2. Baby It's You 5/5 One of my faves really different and cool beat. 3. Not that Kinda Girl 6/5 THIS IS MY SECOND FAVE SONG!!! It's probably going to be her next single easily it's really good! 4. Happy Song 4/5 I LOVE this beat...It's great! 5. Homeboy 5/5 The beat resembles...Camron's "Oh Boy" with the drum breaks and that. I love it...I love the story behind it too...with her male neighbor turning into more than a friend. 6. City Lights 3/5 VERY good beat...Up tempo...However this is one of the songs where the lyrics kill the song she talks about partying and hitting clubs. Something she obviously can't do. Hell I'm 16 and I can barely get into any...what's up with that. 7.Leave (Get Out) 5/5 Well who doesn't like this song since it's almost everyone's motivation to buy the CD. It's truly a one of a kind song because none of the other songs resemble it. It's one of the two pop songs on the CD. I love it. 8. Use My Shoulder 3/5 It's grown on me but I just can't feel this song. The beat is good...all the beats are good. I just can't get into it. 9. Never Say Goodbye 10/5 I LOVE THIS SONG! I LOVE THIS SONG! I LOVE THIS SONG! This song is absolutely positively amazing I have it on repeat in my CD player. It's a very slow song and it's just...great. She shows off her vocal talent and the harmonies are soooo cold. 10. Weak 10/5 This is a remake of SWV's hit single back in the early 90s. I hate to say it but I think she does a completely better job. If you haven't heard the SWV version listen to it and hear the similarities and differences. This was my motivation to buy the CD because I had heard on TRL that she does a remake and SWV was my group back in the day. 11. Keep on Keepin' On- 5/5 I love the guitar in the beginning very inspirational and excellent lyrics i love it. It's the other pop-ish song on the CD. But it's more of a like Ashanti feel like "Dreams". It's great! 12. Sunshine- 3/5 It's pretty good...One of those songs that I can't dig my heels into yet. I will probably soon. 13. Yes or No- 5/5 I love the beginning! She scats and someone's beat boxing It's really really good!!! 14. Fairy Tales 5/5 I love this beginning too...she talks about fairy tales and how she doesn't believe in them any more...really good note to end the song on! Great CD! Cop It!
