I wonder why people can't write a review of this CD without badmouthing either Rob or Ripper? Rob Halford is/was a god with Priest and finding out he's gay made no difference to me. Old Priest rules, plain and simple. But Ripper is extremely good, and he adds a meaner growl to a lot of the old tracks (Grinder, Metal Gods) and while some of the songs don't sound quite right, they're still good, just sound a bit odd, like on The Sentinel and Victim of Changes especially. No, he's not Rob Halford, but I don't think he pretends to be. I think he just loves the songs and tries to do his best and I think he does a damn good job. I am so kicking myself in the ass for not going to see the show here in DC. I had pretty much written Priest off until I heard this CD. Buy it. It rocks.
