Yes, true to this band's name, this is the solo project of the magnificent Timo Kotipelto. Only this time, he's got an even better backing band, featuring Children of Bodom/Warmen keyboardist Janne Warman, Stratovarius bassist Jari Kainulainen, Symphony X guitarist Mike Romeo on lead, Tunnelvision guitarist Juhani Malmberg on rhythm, and Thunderstone/Tunnelvision/Warmen drummer Mirka Rantanen. The band is slightly more progressive sounding. I heard the song "Beginning" on the Century Media records website. I also listened to the available samples here. Overall, after hearing these, I am thinking of buying this album. I thought "Beginning" was simply astonishing. The little intro by Janne really draws the listener in. Kotipelto's vocals sound even better in this band. I don't know why, but it could be the better backing band that helps. Overall, if you want some great Finnish (with one U.S. dude) power metal or enjoy Stratovarius, Children of Bodom, Symphony X, Tunnelvision, Warmen, or Thunderstone, then this is probably for you.
