Okay, another Hilary Duff? I don't think so!! Miss Lohan can actually sing. After hearing her first single "Rumors" I was expecting an all Britney-themed album. (Not saying Britney sucks, 'cus she ROCKS MY SOCKS!! LOL) But surpisingly most of her album contains soft pop to alternative/rock songs. She definitely proved that she has a voice in her debut album. My ratings on her songs:
1. First [2/5]- Although it's titled "First," this song doesn't have a strong opening to the album. Heavy use on the electric guitar.. blah blah I skip this track most of the time..
2. Nobody 'Til You [5/5] - Pop/alternative song that's catchy. Fun to turn up real loud and sing your heart out! LOL
3. Symptoms of You [5/5] - Pop/alternative song that has potential to become a single. Lyrics are cute 'cus it uses analogies to describe a love.
4. Speak [3/5] - First dance song to the album. The lyrics are very catchy, but low-produced. Hopefully, this won't be released as a single! >.<
5. Over [5/5] - GREAT SONG!! Slow, alternative/pop song that's about a love ending. When you listen to the song, all you can think about is her break up with Wilmer. It's all in the lyrics. This would make a great third single.
6. Something I Never Had [5/5] - LOVE THIS SONG!! It's about falling for someone, but they not having the same feelings. Another alernative/pop/slow song.
7. Anything But Me [1/5] - I skip this song most of the time. Very dull, and one of the those "filter" songs..
8. Disconnected [2/5] - This song sounds like it came out of Hilary Duff's second album, and that album SUCKS! So, this song sucks!!!
9. To Know Your Name [5/5] - THIS SONG HAS TO BE HER SECOND SINGLE!! The beat to this song is just SEXY! Makes you want to dance. Sounds more like Britney's "Breathe On Me" or a Kylie Minogue song. Oh, this is the second dance song on the album.
10. Very Last Moment In Time [3/5] - Second song that sounds like Hilary Duff. More like Hilary's "Fly" song. But it's alright to listen to. If you like Hilary, you'll like this song..
11. Rumors [4/5] - The song, the video to her first single "speaks" Britney. It's kinda misleading to make this her first single of the album, although a smart one. If you were expecting to hear more songs similar to "Rumors" on the album you won't. I suggest picking up the single instead since there are only THREE dance songs on the album. BUT preview the rest of the songs just incase!! =P
*12. Magnet [5/5] - Bonus song not included in the album. I actually found this song from SonicStage (a legal downloading program). Cute song that should of been on album!! Has a cute 80ish sound to it. Most likely this song will be on the European and Asian version to this album.
I would give album 5 stars, but I'll settle with 4 stars cus.... One, "Rumors" kinda makes you think the album wouldn't be so slow popish! Two, the album was done in a short time (Lindsay even writes it was on her thank you's). Finally, the image her record label or she is selling is SEX, and this album isn't SEX!! But for her first album, it's GOOD! Again, she can sing! Give her a try.. =P

1. Rumors (can't change it..) 2. To Know Your Name (sexy dance song that'll be a hit everywhere!!) 3. Over (relates to her life esp. breakup w/ Wilmer) ORRRRRR Symptoms of You 4. if Over was a single already.. make Symptoms of You a single ORRRRRRRR if Symptoms of You was a single already.. make Over a single//////understand? lol
