Now, I'll start from here. I am not a huge fan of pop music, or American music at that. My music consists of J-Pop/Rock, Alt, and Electric/House/Techno. And Lindsay Lohan really doesn't fit into any of those categories. Lindsay Lohan's CD, Speak, is actually a really good pop CD. I haven't heard a pop CD, or a good pop CD in a very long time. I'm not even that big of a fan of Lindsay. I haven't seen any of her big movies in the past year. One day my brother was on WMPlayer, and he saw that her CD was up for streaming. He told me that it wasn't that bad(considering his tastes of music hard rock). And he asked me if I liked her, and I said yeah that "Rumors" song isn't too bad. The next day I went on WMPlayer and listened to the CD. I was actually quite impressed, looking at all the crap music right now in America. In the end I got the CD for Christmas, ironically from my brother, wow I'm slow ^_^'
First - 6/10 - Not really impressing from the first song, it sounds like a Disney-made song, like her Freaky Friday song Nobody Till You - 7/10 - Really not much different in likings for this song, it's a little better Symptoms of You - 8.5/10 - We're finally getting to the good tracks. This song reminds me of that "Tangeled" song that came out earlier last year. Speak - 10/10 - Title track. I like how it's quieter, and then gets louder. Over - 10/10 - This is one of my favorite songs on the CD, is it the next single? I'm so slow, to get up w/Music, because I never listen to the radio. Something I Never Had - 8/10 - Slower song, potential to be a balad, but of course fails. Anything But Me - 8.5/10 - Not too bad, still off-beat. Disconnected - 8.5/10 - Also not too bad, could have also been a balad, but again fails. To Know Your Name - 10/10 - I am not a fan of hiphop, but this song has a hiphop feel, and it's my favorite song on the CD. Very Last Moment in Time - 9/10 - This also could have made a good balad, but is still real good how it is. *BONUS*(WTF?) Rumours - 10/10 - WTF? how can this be a Bonus track? No one would have bought it, if it wasn't included? 'Tsgot me!? Sounds like a dance/elec. song, real good! Overall 8/10 Good ^_^

Pick up the CD, if you like Rumours, or her other single (Over?). This CD isn't going to be a hit w/most people, but I liked it, despite my musical tastes! And a note to all music listeners that only like 1 genre, Rap isn't anything special at all. American Rock, is in a "pop" era. Hip Hop scares me silly. Pop is full of no talent pop stars. Country is an acquired taste. The only music that has stayed strong lately is Alternative, but hey that's me! Enjoy! By the way, if you like Lindsay, you'll probably like the new crossover Utada, w/her Exodus album, check it! Thanks for reading! ^_^
