Maroon 5- Songs About Jane

I got this album because the song "Harder to Breathe" hooked me. To tell you the truth it was not at all what I expected, but it was a pleasant surprise to say the least. Every song is great, and the lyrics are smartly written.1. Harder to Breathe-(5/5)- I love this song, cuz it's what made me get the album. The powerful guitar strings, and unique vocals, mixed with great lyrics equal a hit. 2. This Love-(4.5/5)- This song has a great beat, and the opening to the song made me want to listen on. It's chorus is pretty catchy too. 3. Shiver-(4/5)- I really like this song as well, because it has an awesome sound to it. The lyrics are catchy, especially the chorus, and it just sounds excellent. 4. She Will Be Loved-(5/5)- This is my favorite off the album, along with Harder to Breathe, because it's a smartly written, beautiful song. The music is heart-melting and I love the lyrics, especially the chorus. 5. Tangled-(3.5/5)- I love the music, the guitar chords, and all. The lyrics are totally relatable, but it's just not a stand out track to me. 6. The Sun-(3/5)-This is my least favorite song off the album, because it has a slow, melancholy tone that just wasn't for me. 7. Must Get Out-(5/5)- This is another one of my favorites. The lyrics are well said, and the music is mellow. I love the chorus. "I'm lifting you up, I'm letting you down, I'm dancing til dawn, I'm fooling around, I'm not giving up, I'm making your love, this city's made us crazy and we must get out"- Must Get Out, Maroon 5. 8. Sunday Morning-(4.5/5)- The music is a bit boring at first, but it has sort of a lounge, relaxing feel to it. If it wasn't for the lyrics I wouldn't be a big fan of the song, but it is great. 9. Secret-(3.5/5)- This song is slower paced, with kind of an eastern vibe, but I like it. 10. Through With You-(4.5/5)- This song has a great beat, and the lyrics sound great, and I love the feel of the song. 11. Not Coming Home-(4.5/5)- I find this song very similar to Through With You, which is kind of filler after Through With You, but I like the song. 12. Sweetest Goodbye-(5/5)- This is a great way to end the album, and it makes you want more, it is a very sweet song. Overall, this is a great buy, and it'll be in my CD player for a while. I can't wait for their next one!
