How can his talent and achievements be beaten.
He has been an inspiration in music. What a fantastic legacy the legend, Ray Charles, has left the world with his music.
I saw him perform live in a 1975 (approx) performance. It was a half filled school hall in Salt Lake City. No fancy theatrics, no big performance fee, just a man of music taking it to his fans.
I nicknamed him the "metronome man" based on his swaying on his piano stool and I bet he is now keeping the beat wherever he is.
Good on yer mate!!!
