I'm an ardent music fan whose tastes cover virtually every genre of music (although I mostly listen to hard rock/heavy metal and adult contemporary). That being said, this 2-CD set is one of the most amazing things I have ever heard. I'm not a huge Ray Charles fan, but I have to admit that I will start dipping into his past catalog to hear more of his music after adding this set to my CD collection. This set shows the borad range of Charles' style and covers quite well his long career. Kudos not only to Charles but also to those who produced this set. It may be a cliche, but these CDs are a must-have for any Ray Charles fan and definitely worth checking out for those who, like me, always liked Ray Charles but never bought any of his albums before. I can't wait to get some of his other stuff. My ears have been opened.
