This CD has been a favorite of mine ever since I received it as a gift a few years ago. I never really thought much about buying their music until I saw them in concert a few years ago at our State Fair. They were so awesome, they kept the place rocking the whole night long. Darren Hayes' voice is so awesome, and is a perfect fit to every song on the album. Some of the beats are more techno, with electronic sounds in the backgrounds, but mostly the songs just focus on Darren's great talent and let the rest speak for itself. There are harder songs on the album that really want to make you get up and dance, ("Break Me, Shake Me" & "Tears of Pearls") then there are songs that are perfect for cuddling up with that special someone ("Truly, Madly, Deeply" & "Universe").

I know the CD is older and that many people who would've wanted it probably already have it, but if you've been living under a rock somewhere and want to make a great CD collection then this is a fabulous place to start. And if you think you have a great CD album already that is missing this CD, then you better add it right away. And if you love this CD and are looking for something else in this style, check out their sophomore effort: Affirmation.
