I am here to help. People, the Sex Pistols weren't pioneers.

Ok. There's a lot of misinformation here so I'll try to help. First of all, about the Sex Pistols. People, the Sex Pistols aren't the grandfathers of Punk. The world and people will tell you that they are until the day you die but still. The Sex Pistols aren't the grandfathers of Punk. Punk was created before the Sex Pistols. The band was assembled to make a big hit. How do you explain that back in the day they were so popular? Punk bands aren't that popular. The Sex Pistols were. People think they couldn't play their instruments but that's not true either. The drummer did just fine. The guitarist Jones was ok (And he also played the bass in most of the recording). Now don't get me wrong. This guys were crazy for real. Sid Vicious (Who DIDN'T play in most of the songs you have in this CD)was indeed a crazy guy and he wasn't fake. This guys acted like morons in public. The label hired them because of that. This guy called Malcom McLaren was trying to create a fashion (He had a bondage store) and he hired a bunch of crazy guys (The Sex Pistols) to help him out. He told them to write a song. The thing is, the crazy guys he hired happened to be really talented writing songs. They were told to write a song about submission and well, they wrote "Submission" (duh). Everything got out of control and the Sex Pistols ended as icons instead of helpers of a bondage store. This guys were a commercial band. Yes, they were crazy as hell and they wrote their stuff (Except some lyrics) but they weren't the creators of Punk. You always here "Good Charlotte is fake man, The Sex Pistols are the real deal". That's true but The Sex Pistols aren't the "grandfathers" of Punk. Neither is "The Clash" that were a really good band too but that had only 1 Punk album. The rest are albums in which they incorporated different types of music. So I think is good to set the record straight about the Sex Pistols and The Clash.
Now, the music of this album is actually slow. Punk Rock is supposed to be faster. This music is slower. That's not actually a bad thing anyway. I mean, like it or not, this is a great album. The fact that this band was "manufactured" doesn't mean the album is bad. Is really good. Creative as hell. 5 star album. No doubt about it. This is great album but if you really want to hear good Punk Rock, I suggest you to get some Ramones and Bad Religion albums (You probably have them anyway). Not the creators, but still great.
