....So what? I mean its that good. The Sex Pistols are a lot like Nirvana, they make one to three great studio albums (one in this case) that revolutionize the entire music industry. The bands effect is only starting to begin though, its only been two years since wannabe punk poseurs like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan have tried really hard to sound like them, with Green Day being the only successful band. This is real punk, you know like the punk back in the late seventies and early eighties. The Sex Pistols may not have invented punk but they certainly were one of the best, I would rank them up with the Ramones. Its a shame that this was their only album though, I really dont think they needed Sid to go on, they just should have kept making awesome albums with a new bassist. I know Sid was talented but just look what happened to Metallica! They freakin' lost Cliff Burton, the most talented bassist to walk the Earth but they still went on! Maybe if the SP finished what they and the Ramones started then punk bands these days may actually be more talented! Anyway buy this album, now I will rate the greatest punk bands of all time. *Note: Greatest means most influencial, not best music although that kind of applies here.* 1: The Velvet Underground 2: The Stooges 3: MC5 (yes they are punk) 4: The Sex Pistols 5: Nirvana 6: the Ramones 7: The Clash 8: NFOX 9: Green Day 10: The Pixies
