This band which i do not hate i just do not like to say there name because when i always look up really good 70's rock and roll some how i always get on to this bands biiography. I have heard it all and their songs what i have come to conclude is that they are the most overatted band ever. they made one cd and changed the world. Their music was not even original everyone that does their history knows that this band just wanted to be the heartbreakers. malcom their manger repeatedly asked Johnny htunders to make a band called the sex pistols but he turned him down. The pistols lived on shock value and a little bit of substance that is why they get three stars. The pistols would just do what it took to shock you so they would get a little press coverage and you would hear about them. A perfect example is glen matlock being kicked out of the band for not wanting to do the stupid stunts.(Glen was the only one with talent). THe worst part about this cd is it sets up punk rock to just be some stupid music where your anti everything and hate the goverment when the best bands make real songs instead off political songs. The pistols had nothing in the middle and they where just a image. THat millions of teenagers still today by to display that they are "punk rock" and fit in with their freinds. Still today bands do the same thing with punk rock like anti-flag this shock crap to sell records to preteens just wanting to be cool. This cd does have its good melody, but if you just think punk rock is a shock thing buy this record,but if you want some good old fashion rock n' roll just sped up(punk rock) i would highly recomend you stear clear of this black whole title. Instead go look on Amazon for the band that brings substance to punk that makes it something magical that you can feel in your veins. The cd you will never see on the top 100 best albums or 500 best, but is better then the clash and the pistols. look up L.A.M.F(cd title) THE HEARTBREAKERS(the band). Every time i listen to this album i wonder why no one talks about these guys and none of the stupid punk gets at my school know about them. This is the altime best gem of a cd ever do yourself a favor. Forget about this pistol crap and actually look for substance in your music.
