Say way you want about this album- but it truly changed the course of modern music and it's place in history is concrete. This album changed recording, deal making, radio air play list, marketing,press ... you name it it changed it all. There are two histories in rock music-before the Sex Pistols -and after- period!
Now about the music-it is not great, it is not talented ,it is not polished, well tought out, difficult,clever, or original. It is Cords and Emotions only... for those of you to young to know -just what rock and roll had lost- a purpose( emotion). Rod Stewart is a great singer;David Bowie is a great singer, but they can't touch Johnie Rotton for sheer emotion, hatred, anger, or disgust for the passer by. Buy this record and let some stress off.
Before this record it wasn't cool to sing with an accent remember that? Bodies stands as the greatest anti abortion song ever!
