A reviewer wrote, where 10 out of 11 people agreed with him
- However this information is ridiculouslly incorrect... seeing as how the 2 founding fathers of Pearl Jam were playing music in bands together in Seattle from 1984 -
& how Eddie Vedder & Matt Cameron (Pjs drummer) grew up together in San Diego, literally, & went to concerts with each other
Not to mention Stone Gossards long time friendship with PJs lead guitarist, Mike McCready, dating back to when they were kids
- Sorry STP fan, but you couldn't of been more incorrect no matter how hard you tried...
every member of PJ knew at least one other member of PJ almost their whole lives.... WAY before 1987... get your information correct -
'Core' was obviously produced to be riding on the success of 'Ten' from Pearl Jam... in the 1980's, when STP were around - they were a hair metal band.. it wasn't until Pearl Jam came along, before STP released their debut album, they thought, "hey... maybe we should go with this" - Velvet Revolver is further proof of this
STP were Pearl Jam wannabes, & MAYBE on a good day, STP's best album ever is almost half as good as Pearl Jam's worst
Pearl Jam = greatest band of the 90's, & ever STP = Pearl Jam wannabes
