Core is probably the best album of the nineties.
The hard riff of deans deleo guitar playing makes you jump and scream and yes he is probably one of the best guitar players around today.
Scott weilands low voice is excellent in every song and the lyrics are good.
The best songs are wicked garden,plush,sin,where the river goes and pice of pie.
I dont understand why people out there says that STP are ripp offs of pearl jam or soundgarden.
Makes no sense.
The only comperable between the bands are scott voice!!!!!!!.After selling 9 million copies of core and 6 million of purple
they are still strong today as the day the albums came out.
Stone temple pilots is not a grunge band, core is the only grunge album they ever made,they are a hard rock band
with many different roots from different era in the music
and that makes them a good band today.
Iff you havent heard the songs on this album try them out.
