This album was a transitional piece for Rock n' Roll, bridging the gap between the loud and punkish music of the 70's, and that which came before it in the latter part of the 60's... It is also where the Cult came into their own, as a force to be reckoned with... Love set the stage for what was to come in a beautifully dark and poetic way. Even today, after 18 years the music still holds it's own against the wave of artificial comercial rock that has claimed the airwaves. So listen in and be prepared....
