Editorial Reviews:

"Unrepeatable" was recorded at the Albery Theatre in March of 1994 for a limited sold-out engagement of seven weeks, where he played to 34,000 fans. He won rave reviews all around. According to the UK national daily The Independent: "If all the awards and nominations have gone to his head, Izzard's performance does not show it. When he pulls up in mid-flow there is the same sense you get with Robin Williams sometimes, of the audience racing to catch up with a mind that moves too quickly for them." Subjects comprised in this one-man show include: "New Improved Dyslexia," "Bizarre Wash," "Secret Magicians," "Dopey Politicians," "Jumpy Spiders," "Men In Dresses," "God's Creatures," "Aqua Zimmer Frame," "Horror Movies," "Star Trek" and "Do Earwigs Make Chutney?" EXTRAS: Audio commentary/Trivia track/Subtitled in French, German, Spanish, Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch, Italian, Danish/Photo gallery/Bleeped audio track.

Spotlight customer reviews:

Customer Rating: Summary: Love Eddie! Comment: I had bought DTK & Glorious previously and became an Eddie fanatic and bought this one too. As previous reviews have stated though not to the high standards of DTK & Glorious still well worth the purchase. If you are feeling down put on Eddie and I guarrantee you'll feel better.
Customer Rating: Summary: The first and one of the best Comment: This was recorded in March 1994, and its the earliest Eddie Izzard stand-up concert you can buy. However, Eddie is already a fully formed comic genius, in this his first released stage show.
Hilarious, frequently surreal (but still funny) this is a show to watch to cheer yourself up:
The Cat is behind the Sofa drilling. Owner comes round to look, Cat stops drilling. Owner - "Were you drilling Cat?" Cat - "Why would I be drilling I'm a Cat - no thats purring you're thinking of" Owner walks away, Cat puts goggles back on and carries on drilling.
The original Star Trek series is given a good workout by Izzard, ending the show with a series of unusal settings for phasers, a few of which are: 'Bit of a cough', 'Ice Cream Van arrives', and finally 'left the gas on'.
Perhaps not quite as good as Dress To Kill or Glorious, but its close and if you like those I guarantee you will like this.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good giggles Comment: I smiled and giggled through the whole show. I love Eddie Izzard and will be ordering more of his shows soon.
Customer Rating: Summary: so funny Comment: If you get a chance to buy this muvie you wont regret it,it the funniest comedian ever
Customer Rating: Summary: The best Izzard out there Comment: I admit, the audio on this DvD is of low quality, but if all you are doing is watching it there shoulden't be a problem hearing what Izzard is saying. Before I saw this I would have said that Dressed to Kill or Glorious was the mans best show but this one takes that cake. The dog fetching the stick part had me laughing so hard my step-father came in my room to ask if I was ok, and I have never had him do that before over anything. If possible I would have given this a 10/5!
