Customer Rating: Summary: No Clump Mascara Comment: This mascara does not clump and it lasts all day---those are the main qualities. In fact, it adheres to the lashes so well, that it's a bit tedious to remove even with eye makeup remover (I use Clinique). While removing this mascara, it comes off "in clumps" and smears, it doesn't just smear off as other mascaras do and run down your face. This was different than any other masacara I've used b/c as it broke down, I pulled it off my lashes in clumps. My only gripes about this product would be that it's the most money I've ever spent on a mascara and it didn't make my lashes as thick as I wanted. I would recommened buying this size bottle if it's your first time as I did. Even after applying a few coats, I still felt I needed more volume. Sometimes I use this mascara as a base, and put a creamier one on top to give more volume that clings to my lashes. Customer Rating: Summary: Love this mascara... It doesn't clump, it separates, lengthens, and, for me, holds the curl I put in with my lash curler. And...it won't smudge. I have rubbed my eyes, cried, slept in it, etc., and it will not budge. When I get in the shower and add water, a little bit of face soap, and gently rub, it washes off easily and doesn't leave behind raccoon eyes. I think it's perfect. And, it comes in a mini size for those of us who like to throw away a tube of mascara after 6 weeks, as is recommended. It never smudges (I apply it in the morning, then sleep 2 hrs on a rail train ride, work all day and sleep some more on the way home on the rail train and it doesn't smudge) - it goes through a lot and doesn't smudge so that aspect gets an A+. It doesn't flake either. This is good to use if you wear contacts because it doesn't get into your eyes. The brush fans out the lashes nicely and lengthens too...however, as an Asian-American it doesn't curl my lashes NOR does it hold the curl after I use an eye lash curler first (my eye lashes are short and straight) - in fact after I've curled the lashes and put the mascara on it strightens it right out again as if I never curled it. This is disappointing because if it wasn't for that one detail, I would have kept with this mascara. People who don't have a problem with stright lashes or holding a curl after using an eye lash curler, this is just a great little mascara that can go with you almost anywhere!!
