Customer Rating: Summary: The Origin of the Scorpion King Comment: This story tells where the Scorpion King the one from the Scorpion King and the Mummy movies started from. The story starts and goes pretty slow for the first hour then speeds up but in a slow way. I gave it 3 stars cause it was ok not great but I didn't dislike it. The kids or teens will like this one better than the adults but it is definately ok for the whole family. The women were gorgeous but wore way too many clothes to have much sex appeal and there wasn't even one kiss in the whole movie let yet more. I would definately recommend for kids around the age that love Sinbad movies and such it's in that kinda story line. I call it ok cause I paid like[...] for it I would definately not pay the 20 they're askin for it right now buy it used or rent it but it's definately not worth more than [...] and no where near the stories of the Mummy movies or the first Scorpion king.
Customer Rating: Summary: TIME PASSING Comment: If you are bored and want to pass time , this is not a bad movie to watch and spend your time on.
Customer Rating: Summary: King 2 Comment: The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior (Full Screen)
Low budget sequel, interesting, with lots of action.
Customer Rating: Summary: Where is the half star for rating? Comment: this movie is crap!
Stars: who are these kids? They don't even know how to act. And this scorpion king has NO relations to the previous movie of the Rock.
Story: dumb!
Costume: what a joke! you can buy their exclusive costume in such a charity for Halloween!
I'm awfully regret my time spent on this piece of work!
Customer Rating: Summary: SUCKS as in S-U-C-K-S Comment: Let me be honest, I didn't buy the DVD. After all, I was disappointed by the first instalment, so I expected even less from the second one. It seems that Hollywood usually makes the later worse than the first, no matter they are prequel or sequel to the others (Hellboy is another example, and who could forget Star Wars!). After all, a movie comes straight to DVDs should smell fishy, shouldn't it? Can't expect any better than Sci-fi channel's original movie (if they even bother to show this film). Aside from the bads (plot, costumes, oh well, everything!), what ticked me the most was whether these people bothered to find a suitable actor for leading role? Surely the guy was a little more muscular, better-looking than me, but he seemed to be busy with trying to act cool and look pretty. He's better in a fashion show than in film biz.
I was getting sick of chinese-style fighting sequel that Hollywood overdosed lately. Having watched Hongkong martial art flicks since I was a kid, I know a thing or two that they incoporated real martial art to films. Hollywood did it but more like they put dancing in fighting.... Ahhh, irritated!
Anyway, save the money for gasoline, and use two hours you planed on this DVD for something more useful. This film is junk!
