Customer Rating: Summary: I love this stuff. Comment: I discovered this deodorant a few years ago,it was expensive but I bought a bottle and one of the stones. This product is a lifesaver. I can't use regular deodorants, and antiperspirants, because I'm allergic to them. But this stuff works great. I perspire a lot, and I don't have any BO, thanks to Crystal Body deodorant.
The alum in it will also help keep you dry for a short while. It works in shoes for stinky feet, or on the stinky feet, LOL! I made my brother use it for his stinky work shoes and his stinky work feet.
You can spray this anywhere on your body. It won't stain your clothing. It has no scent, and the bottle is small enough to put in a purse.
I like the bottle with the pump spray action. And the price is decent. I bought this and the Dr Bronners soap(6 5oz bars while it was 16.21, it's 17.00 now). I have a hard time finding this brand at my local health food stores, and other places, and it's the only brand I use. I've got enough to last me a while now. I'm a very happy camper.
I think you'll be happy with this product if you're looking for a healthier, more natural alternative to the other products sold in the supermarket.
I know I plan to keep on using it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Finally something that works without alum & fragrance. Comment: You are probably researching this because you don't like aluminum chlorhydrate, not because you have an odor issue. My father had alzheimers and there is still some concern that aluminum may contribute to the disease. So, that is why I was looking for an alternative that worked. I've tried the roll-on and the spray and they both work for me, so long as I properly apply it. Miss one of your sweat glands and you will stink. One of the pleasant surprises is that it has absolutely no smell. Most "unscented" products have a terrible smell to me. This stuff goes on perfectly clear as well so there is no chance of staining your clothes. There was a reviewer that said he wouldn't recommend it for active people. I'm not sure what he meant. I wouldn't work out and then go to the office without showering. Maybe he worked outdoors in the heat, but it should get a normal person through the day even with a lot of activity. Bottom line is that this stuff works BETTER than any other brand I've tried WITH aluminum chlorhydrate.
Customer Rating: Summary: for those who are only lightly physically active Comment: The spray works, but don't over-rely on it. I walk at least an hour a day, and when I was only using this spray, I always smelled at least a little by the end of the day.
Customer Rating: Summary: Deodorant Comment: Awesome stuff, safe from harmful chemicals and it works way better than regular deodorant. Kills the bacteria that causes that stinky BO odor. We have had 100 and over 100 degree weather and this stuff keeps on working. I love this and will never go back to regular deodorant...as long as I can find this I will use this natural spray.
Thanks, Carla
Customer Rating: Summary: Works very well as a body deodorant. Comment: I've been using this product for almost a week now and it definitely works. I've had zero odor even 24 hours after application. Just remember, it is not an antiperspirant, it doesn't stop you from sweating, but it does inhibit growth of bacteria which is responsible for body odor.
It's very gentle and I've found it also works very well for "sensitive areas" below the waist. I use it after a bath or shower. I dry the area first, then pump the sprayer twice. I usually try to give it a minute or two to dry before getting dressed, so the product isn't absorbed into clothing before it can fully set in on the skin.
The stick products by the same company are rock crystal sticks in traditional deodorant style packaging. I'll be trying that next for the underarms, if it works as well it seems to be more economical. However, the spray seems much better suited for use anywhere on the body.
Make sure to also apply a bit beyond the main area of focus for best results. i.e. applying it a little bit up the arm, as well as a little bit below the arm pit (as well as to the arm pit itself, of course) seems to work best.
