Summary: Excellent Ingenuity & Great Fun!
Comment: This expansion to Spore is wonderful and added so many different new twists on to the original game that I could hardly keep up at first!
The number of additional items and effects that "Creepy & Cute" brings is definitely worth the buy. I would recommend it to any one who already has the original game, or plans to buy it. Hands down, it adds loads more fun to the experience!

Comment: EA will be making 8,903,561, expansions of this game. What is worse is the fact this Stuff Pack is $20. It is a waste of money!

Summary: Fun new parts ... assuming the installer works
Comment: The various new parts are discussed at length elsewhere, so I won't bother. My son really enjoys the new parts and actions, so I've rated this a five for fun. On the other hand, I agree with the other reviewers that it should be cheaper, so overall it's a four. How typical of EA to squeeze their customers.
A more important issue is the poorly-designed installer. The EA Download Manager MUST be running in order for the installer to work. Unfortunately, this isn't mentioned in the manual or the installer itself. The installer should check if the EADM is running and start it if it isn't. However, EA either didn't think of it or couldn't be bothered. Shame on EA. After I wasted 30 minutes trying to install this pack, my son suggested trying with the EADM running. Smart boy.

Summary: Not Worth the Money.
Comment: These parts, paint styles, and animations are all fun, but isn't $20 a bit much when the original Creature Creator was only $10 and had 3 or 4 times as many parts, etc.? I downloaded myself a cracked torrent of this, and it worked great, with no DRM or issues running or installing whatsoever. No way am I spending so much money on something with so few parts. Lower the price to $3.50 (It's about what it's worth), and THEN I'll buy it. Until then, I'm perfectly fine being unable to share my creatures. I plan on purchasing this, just not when it's so damned expensive.
To everybody who is thinking about purchasing this game: Download a torrent (The Big Hair torrent worked to perfection for me) and play around with it until they lower the price to something fair, or, better yet, give it away for free, since it's nowhere near worth $20.

Summary: Biggest software disappointment ever
Comment: I bought Spore Creature Creator and Spore as soon as they were available. At first, I loved them both and played frequently. Then patch 1.1 for the Mac was released. I installed it and was told to reinstall the software. I did. Then upon launch was told to install the patch. I did again and again it prompted me to reinstall from the disc. I went through this procedure with both programs on both my Macs and got the same thing. An endless loop of install - reinstall! Fine I thought, I won't install the patch. Then I got Creepy & Cute from a friend as a gift - upon starting it looks as if it is installing patches, but then it stopped and said I would need to reinstall the software from the disc!!!! EA support is the worse so there is no way to get direct help for the problem.
I'm fed up. The game is no longer fun, these hassles have ruined my initial appreciation.
