I was a little worried about not liking the colors and yet hesitant to buy the full size single eye shadows at various retailers just to have the colors I do like. I love that there is a diagram with colors you can put together to create looks and that they are smaller sizes. AND they come in a convenient case!
Someone else commented about how all of the shades are super sparkly. That's not the case however, they are shimmery but not all of them and if you use your larger brush (typically used for foundation) to sweep the excess that may fall from the eyeshadow application onto your cheeks, there's no problem!
I cannot say enough positive thing about this kit. It has just about everything to keep my trying new combos for a while and not needing to purchase another eyeshadow for a while. LOVE IT!! Comment: I got these products on a whim and could not be happier! The colors are great. I was worried that the bright green and blue would look over-the-top, but couldn't be prettier. The box has a guide for matching two colors, but the choices are almost unlimited. I use them with and without Urban Decay's primer and they don't goop up in your eyelid crease or just plain old wear off either way. Just know that all the colors are super sparkly, but that's the only "problem" I have found. Since it is Bare Escentuals you get to do the fun swirling and tapping, too.
