Summary: It's what it advertises.
Comment: I saw this same case at a mall kiosk and it was $16.95 before tax. Compared side by side with the had plastic case it does have a rubber "feel" to it's surface. It's obviously not rubber, but if that's what I wanted to buy, then I'd buy a rubber case. This is a good deal.
