Each episode of The Monthly Dose sought to chronicle a historic first ascent, an exciting new area, or an emerging climbing talent, and to wrap it all in a beautiful, action packed-short film with great music. After their web run, the Doses were compiled and released on DVD, and the Dosage films have gone on to become the definitive annual portrait of climbing's state-of-the-art. Big Up's first episode showed Chris Sharma on the first ascent of the Mandala, in Bishop, CA.
